Suicide mortality rate | UAE

Suicide mortality rate in UAE amounted to 1.71 per 100,000 population in 2021, which is 28.15% less than in 2020, when it was  2.38. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has decreased in 1.43 times. The highest number of suicide deaths was in 2012, when it reached 2.67 per 100,000 population. The minimum of UAE was recorded in 2021, with a value of 1.71 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
