Overview
The proved natural gas reserves of Argentina in 2021 reached 396 billion m³, which is 6.71% more than in 2020, when it was 372 billion cubic metres. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) data and BP Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1980, the proved reserves of natural gas has decreased in 1.09 times. The minimum of Argentina was recorded in 2015, with a value of 316 billion cubic metres. The maximum proved gas reserves was in 2002, when it reached 778 billion m³.
