The total reserves of Armenia in 2024 amounted to 3 685 million USD, which is 2.15% more than in 2023, when it was 3 607 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Over the entire data period of International Monetary Fund (IMF), since 1992, this indicator has increased in 2 848.48 times. The lowest reserves was recorded in 1992, when it was 1 million USD. The maximum value of Armenia was in 2022, when total reserves including gold reached 4 112 million USD.

Total reserves comprise holdings of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserves of IMF members held by the IMF, and holdings of foreign exchange under the control of monetary authorities. The gold component of these reserves is valued at year-end (December 31) London prices.
