Suicide mortality rate | Australia – yearly data, chart and table

Suicide mortality rate in Australia amounted to 13.08 per 100,000 population in 2021, which is 0.384% more than in 2020, when it was  13.03. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has increased in 1.02 times. The highest number of suicide deaths was in 2019, when it reached 13.98 per 100,000 population. The minimum of Australia was recorded in 2004, with a value of 10.79 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
