The crude oil production in Azerbaijan in 2024 reached 592 120 barrels per day, which is 4.21% less than in 2023, when production volume was  618 122 b/d. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1992, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 2.67 times. The minimum of Azerbaijan was recorded in 1997, with a value of 182 472 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 2010, when it reached 1 035 627 b/d.

Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only. Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
