Hydropower consumption | Azerbaijan – yearly data, chart and table

The hydropower energy consumption in Azerbaijan in 2024 reached 0.0105 EJ, which is 65.22% more than in 2023, when consumption volume was  0.0063 EJ. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1985, the consumption volume of hydropower primary energy has increased in 2.22 times. The lowest level of consumption in Azerbaijan was recorded in 1989, with a value of 0.0025 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from hydropower was in 2010, when it reached 0.0124 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
