Overview
The Global Innovation Index of Burundi in 2025 was 15.8 points. In 2024, the index value was 13.2. It has been growing in this country for already 3 years in a row. 100 points indicate the maximum level of GII. Since 2014, over the entire period of data, this indicator has decreased in 1.42 times. The lowest level of innovation in Burundi was recorded in 2022, with a value of 12.3. The highest index was observed in 2014, when it reached 22.4.
