			Overview
			Iron ore mining of Belgium in 1977 amounted to 47 000 tons, which is 25.4% less than in 1976, when it was  63 000 tons. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the British Geological Survey statistics, since 1970, the volume of iron ore production has decreased in 1.98 times. The minimum was recorded in 1977, with a value of 47 000 tons. The maximum mining of iron ore in Belgium was in 1974, when it reached 123 000 tons.
