Total fruit exports of Benin in 2023 amounted to 20 477 tonnes, which is 83.83% more than in 2022, when it was  11 139 tonnes. It has been growing in this country for already 11 years in a row. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the volume of annual fruit exports has not changed. The minimum trade exports of fruits recorded in 1990, with a value of 0 tonnes. The maximum of Benin was in 2023, when it reached 20 477 metric tons.

Data sources and collection In general, figures have been supplied by governments through magnetic tapes, national publications and FAO questionnaires. In particular, for the European Union member countries, with the exception of Spain, data obtained from EUROSTAT have been used. In addition, maximum use has been made of the magnetic tapes provided by the United Nations Statistics Division.
