Foreign direct investment outflows of Bangladesh in 2024 amounted to 7.15 million USD, which is 28.11% more than in 2023, when it was 5.58 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to UNCTAD statistics, since 1990, the foreign direct investment outflows has increased in 14.31 times. The lowest value was recorded in 1999, with a value of 0.05 million USD. The maximum investment outflows of Bangladesh was in 2017, when it reached 103.25 million USD.
