Household debt and loans | Bulgaria – yearly data, chart and table

The household debt loans and debt securities in Bulgaria in 2024 was 25.8977% of GDP. In 2023, the value was amounted to  23.5255% of GDP. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 1995, for the whole period of data from IMF, this indicator has increased in 66.07 times. The lowest household debt as a share of GDP in Bulgaria was recorded in 1996, with a value of 0.1829%. The highest value was in 2008, when it reached 29.7457% of GDP.
