Number of reported tuberculosis cases in Bulgaria in 2023 amounted to 1 100, which is 15.79% more than in 2022, when it was 950. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB case count in Bulgaria has decreased in 3.82 times. The highest rate was in 2001, when it reached 4 800 new cases. The minimum of Bulgaria was recorded in 2021, with a value of 840.
