Overview
The proved oil reserves of Bahrain in 2021 reached 187 million barrels, which is 97.15% more than in 2020, when it was 95 MMbbl. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) data and BP Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1980, the proved reserves of oil has decreased in 1.29 times. The minimum of Bahrain was recorded in 1994, with a value of 70 million barrels. The maximum proved oil reserves was in 1980, when it reached 240 MMbbl.
