Passenger transportation by air | Central African Rep. – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Central African Rep. in 2001 amounted to 46 364, which is 40% less than in 2000, when it was  77 273 passengers. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has decreased in 1.50 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2001, with a value of 46 364 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Central African Rep. was in 1980, when it reached 136 100 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
