Average mean surface air temperature | Switzerland – yearly data, chart and table

The average mean surface air temperature in Switzerland in 2024 amounted to 7.82 °C, which is 2.01% less than in 2023, when it was  7.98 °C. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. According to the Climate Change Knowledge Portal data, since 1901, the average annual air temperature has increased in 1.76 times. The minimum average temperature was recorded in 1940, with a value of 4.07 °C. The maximum figure of Switzerland was in 2022, when it reached 8.04  °C.
