Overview
Total fruit exports of Chile in 2023 amounted to 2 941 049 tonnes, which is 6.79% less than in 2022, when it was 3 155 404 tonnes. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the volume of annual fruit exports has increased in 82.57 times. The minimum trade exports of fruits recorded in 1961, with a value of 35 619 tonnes. The maximum of Chile was in 2018, when it reached 3 355 846 metric tons.

Data sources and collection In general, figures have been supplied by governments through magnetic tapes, national publications and FAO questionnaires. In particular, for the European Union member countries, with the exception of Spain, data obtained from EUROSTAT have been used. In addition, maximum use has been made of the magnetic tapes provided by the United Nations Statistics Division.
