Household debt and loans | Chile – yearly data, chart and table

The household debt loans and debt securities in Chile in 2024 was 44.8062% of GDP. In 2023, the value was amounted to  46.3440% of GDP. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2002, for the whole period of data from IMF, this indicator has increased in 1.98 times. The lowest household debt as a share of GDP in Chile was recorded in 2002, with a value of 22.6309%. The highest value was in 2020, when it reached 48.2675% of GDP.
