Cropland area | China – yearly data, chart and table

Cropland area of China in 2023 amounted to 127 580 000 ha, which is  exactly the same as in 2022, when it was also 127 580 000 ha. . According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land (land under temporary crops) plus land under perennial crops has increased in 1.22 times. The minimum cropland area recorded in 1980, with a value of 99 305 000 ha. The maximum of China was in 2009, when it reached 135 384 600 ha.
