Overview
The crude oil production in China in 2024 reached 5 053 027 barrels per day, which is 1.38% more than in 2023, when production volume was 4 984 164 b/d. It has been growing in this country for already 7 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1965, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 22.25 times. The minimum of China was recorded in 1965, with a value of 227 130 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 2024, when it reached 5 053 027 b/d.

Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only.
Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
