Passenger transportation by air | Cameroon – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Cameroon in 2021 amounted to 177 992, which is 335.36% more than in 2020, when it was  40 884 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 2.71 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2020, with a value of 40 884 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Cameroon was in 1985, when it reached 718 000 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
