Overview
Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in Cameroon in 2023 amounted to 6 900, which is 4.17% less than in 2022, when it was 7 200 cases. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in Cameroon has decreased in 1.35 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2002, when it reached 10 000 deaths. The minimum of Cameroon was recorded in 2015, with a value of 6 800 cases. All values are approximate.
