Overview
The crude oil production in Colombia in 2024 reached 795 693 barrels per day, which is 0.557% less than in 2023, when production volume was 800 151 b/d. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1965, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 3.92 times. The minimum of Colombia was recorded in 1979, with a value of 129 000 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 2015, when it reached 1 028 920 b/d.

Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only.
Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
