Unemployment rate | Cyprus – yearly data, chart and table

The unemployment rate in Cyprus in 2024 amounted to 5.60% of total labor force. In 2023, the value was  6.10%. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of ILOSTAT data since 1991, this indicator has increased in 1.87 times. The lowest percentage of unemployed was recorded in 1992, when it was 2.09. The maximum was in 2014, when number of unempoyed persons in Cyprus reached 16.28 % of total labor force.
