Number of inbound tourism arrivals | Dominica

The inbound tourism arrivals to Dominica in 2022 amounted to 235 000, which is 256.06% more than in 2021, when it was  66 000 arrivals. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 1.16 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 2021, when it was 66 000 arrivals. The highest value was in 2009, when the inbound tourism arrivals to Dominica reached 608 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
