The oil energy consumption in Algeria in 2024 reached 0.9035 EJ, which is 5.36% more than in 2023, when consumption volume was  0.8575 EJ. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1965, the consumption volume of oil primary energy has increased in 16.29 times. The lowest level of consumption in Algeria was recorded in 1965, with a value of 0.0555 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from oil was in 2024, when it reached 0.9035 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
