Unemployment rate | Algeria – yearly data, chart and table

The unemployment rate in Algeria in 2024 amounted to 11.43% of total labor force. In 2023, the value was  11.70%. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of ILOSTAT data since 1991, this indicator has decreased in 1.80 times. The lowest percentage of unemployed was recorded in 2013, when it was 9.82. The maximum was in 1995, when number of unempoyed persons in Algeria reached 31.84 % of total labor force.
