Overview
The crude oil production in Egypt in 2024 reached 639 906 barrels per day, which is 4.11% less than in 2023, when production volume was 667 303 b/d. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1965, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 5.08 times. The minimum of Egypt was recorded in 1967, with a value of 108 562 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 1993, when it reached 959 562 b/d.

Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only.
Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
