Number of diabetic patients | Spain – yearly data, chart and table

Number of people with diabetes in 20-79 years age group in Spain in 2024 amounted to 4 660 200, which is 9.36% less than in 2021, when it was  5 141 300 people. Since 2011, for the whole period of International Diabetes Federation statistics, the diabetic population in Spain has increased in 1.64 times. The minimum number of adults aged 20–79 living with diabetes was recorded in 2011, with a value of 2 840 100.
