The total reserves of Spain in 2024 amounted to 107 774 million USD, which is 4.54% more than in 2023, when it was  103 089 million USD. It has been growing in this country for already 11 years in a row. Over the entire data period of International Monetary Fund (IMF), since 1950, this indicator has increased in 897.63 times. The lowest reserves was recorded in 1958, when it was 66 million USD. The maximum value of Spain was in 2024, when total reserves including gold reached 107 774 million USD.

Total reserves comprise holdings of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserves of IMF members held by the IMF, and holdings of foreign exchange under the control of monetary authorities. The gold component of these reserves is valued at year-end (December 31) London prices.
