Air transport registered carrier departures | Estonia – yearly data, chart and table

Number of civil aircraft departures in Estonia in 2019 amounted to 22, which is 98.61% less than in 2018, when it was  1 583. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1992, this indicator has decreased in 250.00 times. The lowest number of air transport departures was recorded in 2019, with a value of 22. The maximum in Estonia was in 2012, when it reached 26 778 departures.
The air transport data represent the total (international and domestic) scheduled traffic carried by the air carriers registered in a country. For statistical uses, departures are equal to the number of landings made or flight stages flown. A flight stage is the operation of an aircraft from take-off to its next landing. A flight stage is classified as either international or domestic. International flight stage is one or both terminals in the territory of a State, other than the State in which the air carrier has its principal place of business.
