Number of deaths from poisoning | Ethiopia PDR – yearly data, chart and table

Number of deaths from unintentional poisoning in Ethiopia PDR in 2021 amounted to 1.16 per 100,000 people, which is 4.92% less than in 2020, when it was  1.22. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has decreased in 1.63 times. The highest mortality from poisoning was in 2001, when it reached 1.90 deaths per 100,000 people. The minimum of Ethiopia PDR was recorded in 2021, with a value of 1.16 cases per 100,000 people.
