Overview
Total fruit exports of Fiji in 2023 amounted to 1 204 tonnes, which is 39.5% less than in 2022, when it was 1 990 tonnes. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the volume of annual fruit exports has decreased in 5.82 times. The minimum trade exports of fruits recorded in 1973, with a value of 104 tonnes. The maximum of Fiji was in 1963, when it reached 7 100 metric tons.

Data sources and collection In general, figures have been supplied by governments through magnetic tapes, national publications and FAO questionnaires. In particular, for the European Union member countries, with the exception of Spain, data obtained from EUROSTAT have been used. In addition, maximum use has been made of the magnetic tapes provided by the United Nations Statistics Division.
