Suicide mortality rate | France

Suicide mortality rate in France amounted to 16.58 per 100,000 population in 2021, which is 2.03% more than in 2020, when it was  16.25. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has decreased in 1.23 times. The highest number of suicide deaths was in 2000, when it reached 20.32 per 100,000 population. The minimum of France was recorded in 2016, with a value of 14.63 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
