Overview
The crude oil production in Ghana in 2024 reached 205 590 barrels per day, which is 16.97% more than in 2023, when production volume was 175 763 b/d. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1980, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 102.80 times. Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only.
Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
