Arable land area of Guyana in 2023 amounted to 97 000 ha, which is  exactly the same as in 2022, when it was also 97 000 ha. . According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land has increased in 1.02 times. The minimum arable land area recorded in 2001, with a value of 95 276 ha. The maximum of Guyana was in 2023, when it reached 97 000 ha. Arable land includes land defined by the FAO as land under temporary crops (double-cropped areas are counted once), temporary meadows for mowing or for pasture, land under market or kitchen gardens, and land temporarily fallow.
