Passenger transportation by air | Croatia – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Croatia in 2021 amounted to 767 762, which is 26.18% more than in 2020, when it was  608 458 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1991, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 6.77 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1995, with a value of 644 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Croatia was in 2006, when it reached 2 148 000 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
