Overview
The crude oil production in Hungary in 2024 reached 38 706 barrels per day, which is 7.39% more than in 2023, when production volume was 36 042 b/d. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 1980, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has decreased in 1.50 times. The minimum of Hungary was recorded in 2014, with a value of 26 013 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 1988, when it reached 62 000 b/d.

Petroleum supply includes the production of crude oil (including lease condensate), natural gas plant liquids, and other liquids, and it also includes refinery processing gain for volume (TBPD) only.
Other Liquids includes biodiesel, ethanol, liquids produced from coal, gas, and oil shale, Orimulsion, blending components, and other hydrocarbons.
