Overview
Crude steel production of Indonesia in 2024 amounted to 17 000 000 tons, which is 6.25% more than in 2023, when it was 16 000 000 tons. It has been growing in this country for already 8 years in a row. According to the World Steel Association data, since 1974, the volume of steel production has increased in 212.50 times. The minimum production of crude steel was recorded in 1974, with a value of 80 000 tons. The maximum in Indonesia was in 2024, when it reached 17 000 000 tons.
