Agricultural land area | India – yearly data, chart and table

Agricultural land area of India in 2023 amounted to 1 785 710 km², which is 0.008% more than in 2022, when it was  1 785 567 km². It has been growing in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of agricultural land has increased in 1.02 times. The minimum agricultural land area recorded in 1961, with a value of 1 749 520 km². The maximum of India was in 1991, when it reached 1 815 860 km².
