It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 9.60 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 1995, when it was 2 143 000 arrivals. The highest value was in 2024, when the inbound tourism arrivals to India reached 20 570 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
