Overview
Foreign direct investment outflows of Iran in 2024 amounted to 89.42 million USD, which is 3.18% more than in 2023, when it was 86.66 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to UNCTAD statistics, since 1990, the foreign direct investment outflows has increased in 1.60 times. The lowest value was recorded in 2003, with a value of -325.70 million USD. The maximum investment outflows of Iran was in 2012, when it reached 1 356.03 million USD.
