Number of outbound tourism departures | Israel

The outbound tourism departures from Israel in 2022 amounted to 8 432 000, which is 179.02% more than in 2021, when it was  3 022 000 departures. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 3.73 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 2020, when it was 1 544 000 departures. The highest value was in 2019, when the outbound tourism departures from Israel reached 9 179 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
