Overview
The coal energy consumption in Israel in 2024 reached 0.1107 EJ, which is 12.56% less than in 2023, when consumption volume was 0.1266 EJ. It has been falling in this country for already 5 years in a row. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1980, the consumption volume of coal primary energy has increased in 2 644.64 times. The lowest level of consumption in Israel was recorded in 1981, with a value of 0.0000 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from coal was in 2012, when it reached 0.3689 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
