Hydropower consumption | Israel – yearly data, chart and table

The hydropower energy consumption in Israel in 2024 reached 0.0001 EJ, which is 0.221% more than in 2023, when consumption volume was  0.0001 EJ. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1981, the consumption volume of hydropower primary energy has increased in 11.65 times. The lowest level of consumption in Israel was recorded in 1983, with a value of 0.0000 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from hydropower was in 2012, when it reached 0.0001 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
