Number of deaths from poisoning | Italy – yearly data, chart and table

Number of deaths from unintentional poisoning in Italy in 2021 amounted to 0.31 per 100,000 people, which is 6.9% more than in 2020, when it was  0.29. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has decreased in 1.74 times. The highest mortality from poisoning was in 2000, when it reached 0.54 deaths per 100,000 people. The minimum of Italy was recorded in 2017, with a value of 0.22 cases per 100,000 people.
