Nonfinancial corporate debt and loans | Italy – yearly data, chart and table

Nonfinancial corporate debt loans and debt securities in Italy in 2024 was 59.21% of GDP. In 2023, the value was amounted to  61.49% of GDP. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. Since 1950, for the whole period of data from IMF, this indicator has increased in 2.75 times. The lowest corporate debt as a share of GDP in Italy was recorded in 1950, with a value of 21.54%. The highest value was in 2012, when it reached 81.66% of GDP.
