Passenger transportation by air | Jamaica – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Jamaica in 2018 amounted to 180 951, which is 19.58% more than in 2017, when it was  151 326 passengers. It has been growing in this country for already 5 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has decreased in 1.54 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2013, with a value of 46 272 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Jamaica was in 2002, when it reached 2 016 000 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
