Suicide mortality rate | Jamaica – yearly data, chart and table

Suicide mortality rate in Jamaica amounted to 1.69 per 100,000 population in 2021, which is 8.33% more than in 2020, when it was  1.56. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has increased in 1.63 times. The highest number of suicide deaths was in 2007, when it reached 2.67 per 100,000 population. The minimum of Jamaica was recorded in 2006, with a value of 0.74 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
