Cereal crop production of Jordan in 2023 amounted to 72 666 tonnes, which is 10.45% more than in 2022, when it was  65 793 tonnes. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the volume of annual ceral production has decreased in 2.86 times. The minimum production of grains was recorded in 1999, with a value of 14 460 tonnes. The maximum of Jordan was in 1964, when it reached 400 558 metric tons. Area and production data on cereals relate to crops harvested for dry grain only. Cereal crops harvested for hay or harvested green for food, feed or silage or used for grazing are therefore excluded.
