Nuclear energy consumption | Kazakhstan – yearly data, chart and table

The nuclear energy consumption in Kazakhstan in 1998 reached 0.0010 EJ, which is 70.59% less than in 1997, when consumption volume was  0.0033 EJ. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1989, the consumption volume of nuclear primary energy has decreased in 1.15 times. The lowest level of consumption in Kazakhstan was recorded in 1995, with a value of 0.0009 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from nuclear power plants was in 1991, when it reached 0.0059 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
